LNP COMMIT $17,000 TO BOWEN WOODWORKERS ASSOCIATION

The Bowen Woodworkers and Woodturners Association is a community organisation located in Bowen, dedicated to providing a welcoming space for individuals interested in learning a new craft.

The Association aims to foster inclusivity and support mental health by offering a safe environment where members can engage in creative activities and share their experiences.

“Currently members use these old shelves and cabinets to store tools and electrical equipment which are falling to bits and need replacing.” Federal Member for Dawson, Andrew Willcox said.

“If elected the Coalition will commit $17,000 towards new shelving upgrades inside the shed.”

“These types of organisations don’t ask for much and offer such a great place for the community to come and be part of the growing association.”
