Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2026 National Youth Parliament – an exciting and all-expenses-paid experience for 16 & 17-year-olds passionate about shaping Australia’s future.

Held in Canberra, this five-day program immerses students in real-world civics through debates, workshops, and policy challenges at Parliament House.

Delivered by the Department of the House of Representatives and Y Australia, it will empower young Australians with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in our democracy.

No political experience is needed – just curiosity and a desire to make a difference.
